Amazon Reviews Exporter Chrome Extension Analysis

Listing positioning

The product positions itself as a one-click solution to scrape Amazon reviews, including media like images and videos. It emphasizes compatibility with Shopify's CSV import format and claims to offer basic functionality for free.

Inferred product pattern

A specialized niche scraper for Amazon reviews using a social-login paywall to convert users from a claimed free tier to a paid model.

Review-backed pain points

Users report frustration that the extension is marketed as free but requires payment after a Google login. Some users claim the tool is completely non-functional or provides a negligible amount of data (e.g., only 10 reviews).

Observed feature gaps

Reviews suggest a significant gap between the advertised 'free' functionality and the actual accessible data limit, with reports of very low review export caps.

Support

No specific support ticket complaints, but general accusations of the tool being 'fraud' due to payment hurdles.

Reliability

Multiple users report the extension simply does not work upon installation.

Privacy

No direct privacy violations reported, though users dislike the mandatory Google account sign-in.
